Topics discussed will include basic muscle anatomy and physiology; the benefits of massage and stretching; the correct timing for massage and stretching; and basic massage techniques. Lab sessions will include videos detailing basic stretches and common areas of tightness in the forelimbs and hind limbs. Participants will be guided through the stretches and massage techniques with the assistance of trained staff members, and there will be time for questions throughout the seminar.
