Nikita's journey into veterinary medicine began at age four when she first declared her intention to become a veterinarian. This early passion has guided her professional development and continues to drive her dedication to animal health and welfare at North Georgia Veterinary Specialists.

Her academic foundation reflects her commitment to excellence in veterinary science. Nikita earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Chemistry, providing her with comprehensive knowledge of animal physiology, nutrition, and the chemical principles underlying modern veterinary treatments. This scientific background enables her to understand complex medical protocols and contribute meaningfully to patient care decisions.

Since joining NGVS in 2015, Nikita has demonstrated consistent growth and adaptability in our dynamic practice environment. She thrives on the intellectual challenges that veterinary medicine presents. Her enthusiasm for learning drives her to stay current with evolving treatment protocols and emerging veterinary technologies.

Currently, Nikita is advancing her expertise through the GTC veterinary technology program, working toward her technician licensure. This formal training enhances her already substantial practical experience, ensuring she can provide the highest standard of technical support for our veterinary team and optimal care for our patients.

Beyond her professional achievements, Nikita maintains a strong connection to the pet owner experience through her personal life. She shares her home with London, her black and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, giving her firsthand insight into the joys and responsibilities of pet ownership. Her time with family and friends provides the work-life balance that keeps her energized and compassionate in her role.

Nikita's combination of lifelong passion, scientific education, ongoing professional development, and personal pet ownership makes her an invaluable member of our team and a trusted advocate for every patient in our care.
