Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy is used both in and out of the operating room, allowing “real-time imaging” whenever this is desired and appropriate. It is particularly useful in the evaluation of swallowing disorders, assisting implant placement in fracture repair, or diagnosing portosystemic shunts and ensuring appropriate treatment. Our fluoroscopy unit is also an integral part of our interventional radiology procedures, such as tracheal and urethral stenting.
