After earning his DVM, Dr. Anthony
Pease did a one-year equine medicine and surgery
internship at the Marion DuPont Scott Equine Medical
Center in Leesburg, Virginia, followed by a one-year
small-animal rotating internship at the affiliated
Veterinary Specialists of Orlando, Florida. He then
completed a residency program at Cornell University in
diagnostic imaging and is board certified with the
American College of Veterinary Radiology.
Dr. Pease's research interests involve
functional magnetic resonance imaging as a marker of
gastrointestinal pain perception, as well as tendon
and cartilage research using MRI. In addition, he
organizes and instructs numerous continuing education
courses at national and regional converences on the
subjectost of ultrasound image acquisition and
interpretation, and radiographic and computed
tomography interpretation.
Dr. Anthony Pease was an Assistant
Professor at North Carolina State University from
2004-2008 and is currently the Section Chief of
Diagnostic Imaging at the Michigan State University's
College of Veterinary Medicine. He is also the
consulting radiologist for North Georgia Veterinary
Specialists.
